Privacy policy

How we collect, use and protect personal information when you use this website or contact us. Last updated 27 October 2026.

Who we are

This website, taiwancompanyincorporation.com, is operated by Taiwan Company Incorporation (“we”, “us”). You can reach us about privacy at connect@taiwancompanyincorporation.com.

What we collect

  • Information you give us, such as your name, work email, company name and the details of your plans when you use our contact form or email us.
  • Information needed to deliver our services, if you become a client, such as identity documents of shareholders and directors, company documents and employee details for payroll.
  • Technical information collected automatically when you browse, such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, through server logs and any cookies described below.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange consultations
  • To provide the services you engage us for, including filings with Taiwan authorities
  • To meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations
  • To keep the website secure and understand how it is used

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Legal basis

We handle personal information in line with Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act. Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, we rely on your consent, the steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you, our legal obligations, or our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business.

Who we share it with

We share information only where needed to provide our services or meet legal duties, for example with Taiwan government agencies when we make filings for you, banks, certified public accountants, and service providers who host our website and email. These providers may only use the information on our instructions.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in Taiwan and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for these transfers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as Taiwan accounting, tax and company law requires, and then deleted.

Cookies

This website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, and may use analytics cookies to understand how pages are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

Under Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act you may ask to see or copy your personal information, correct it, or ask us to stop collecting, processing or using it, or to delete it. If the GDPR applies to you, you also have the rights to restrict processing, to object and to data portability, and you may complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email us at the address above.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us immediately if you think your information has been put at risk.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
