What we take care of

  • Compliant contracts in English and Traditional Chinese, under Taiwan’s Labor Standards Act.
  • Monthly payroll with income tax withholding and payslips.
  • Labour insurance, employment insurance and National Health Insurance enrolment and contributions.
  • Labour pension contributions of at least 6% of monthly wages into each employee’s individual account.
  • Leave and working time tracked against statutory rules, from annual leave that grows with service to overtime limits.
  • Work permits for foreign hires through the Workforce Development Agency, and guidance on the Employment Gold Card for qualifying talent.
  • Ending employment lawfully, including notice and severance where the law requires it.

Is EOR the right choice?

EOR works well for a first hire, a small sales or engineering team, or while your own company is being registered. If you plan a large team, need to invoice Taiwan customers yourself or want a long-term local presence, a company is usually more cost-effective. Many clients do both: hire through EOR now, then transfer staff to their own company once it is registered.

How the arrangement works

Taiwan’s Labor Standards Act sets specific rules for dispatched work, including shared responsibilities between the employer and the company the employee works for. We put a clear service agreement in place so you know which obligations sit with us and which with you.

How fast can we start?

Once you have chosen your candidate and agreed salary and terms, we prepare the contract and onboarding. Foreign hires also need a work permit before starting, which adds time; we will give you a realistic date up front.
